Not nice: I got fined in Skopje, received the fine documents from the rental and was told that the fee for speeding is 20 Euro to be taken from my credit card. Having read the fee document, it stated that the fee was 15 Euro and if you paid the fee within 8 days, the fee would be reduced by 50%. That would have meant 7,50 Euro. Nevertheless, 20 Euro was taken from my credit card. It's not that I cannot pay that, but obviously thats what they do to tourists - taking an advantage for 1. not being able to react because they already left the country and 2. thinking they are unable to read documents in times when KI simply translates everything for you. Decide on your own how to deal with this and what to think of this. The rental process was quick and easy, got the papers, went out to the parking lot at the airport, got the car. The condition of the car was what you would expect from a car with my rental price. It was okay, the car drove, but at the same time, there were sounds rattling below the car. Considering the condition of cars in North Macedonia, I'd call that "normal", though I wouldnt have expected it from a rental. Note: I gave this a five star rating because Google blocks ratings below.

Overall too much hassle. Wanted me to document every nick and scratch, and the car was full of them (as is to be expected with any rental). Also said he would charge me 10 euros for washing the car upon returning it; I refused. Gas tank was not filled up. Most important issue was that one of the tires clearly did not have enough air pressure and the employee said “Don’t worry, it’s OK.“ I insisted that it needed to be fixed. He added air and said to call him if I had problems during the trip, which clearly would not solve the defective tire. Ten minutes into the drive the low air pressure alert lit up on the dash. Two mornings later the air was too low again and we had to spend time looking for a tire shop. They said there was a nail in the tire. When we got back I told him and he accused me of fixing a different tire on the car. Too much hassle to endure while on vacation.

Bonjour, nous avons loué une Dacia Sandero Stepway via la plate-forme Discovercars pour cinq personnes et deux grosse valises, une petite valise et deux sacs à dos cabine. Le véhicule était conforme, en bon état de fonctionnement, propre. Le tour de la voiture a été rapide et sérieux à la prise en charge, et encore plus sérieuse au retour (ce qui est normal vu que c est leur gagne pain) A aucun moment nous n'avons eu l' impression de nous faire avoir. Nous avons rendu la voiture avec l essence nécessaire et le deal a été respecté dès deux côtés Je suis rentré hier soir et à priori aucun soucis pour la caution pour le moment Pour la petite histoire, j'ai pris une amende aux abord du Château de Birat(je sais a quel moment en plus...) 600leke a régler rapidement en compagnie du Loueur en toute transparence Bien sûr tant qu on a pas eu de soucis tout se passe bien mais ce fut une location de véhicule qui s est bien passé et le prix était correct par rapport aux autres loueurs connus qui gonflent les prix juste parce qu'on. A peur de louer à des enseignes moins connues. Merci Sharr Express

Allt gick väldigt smidigt. Personal som tog emot oss var vänlig och hjälpsam. Vi hade bokat en Seat Arona men fick en helt ny och fräsch Skoda Kamiq. Personal hjälpte till att bära våra väskor till bilen. Lämning av bilen gick också snabbt och smidigt. Tog bara några minuter av genomgång av bilen och ett samtal för att se om bilen hade några parkeringsböter. Jag kommer välja Sharr Express igen i framtiden!

We had a Dacia Stepway from Sharr Express for a week.Car was almost new , clean in and out.their office is in short walking distance from airport arrivals and carpark is only 20m from the office. uitstekende ervaring met Sharr Express. Er stond een gloednieuwe Dacia op ons te wachten bij aankomst. Na een weekje rond toeren in Albanië deden we de drop-off zonder problemen. We gingen nog een dag naar Tirana stad en na navraag hoe we daar het best geraken, belde Leo een taxi voor ons en maakte zo onze volgende transfer makkelijk. We are very very happy with the service we received when renting a car with Sharr Express. Having rented cars from many companies in many countries I can safely say that this company is as good and reliable as any. Excellent communication through WhatsApp and a seamless pick up and drop off. We had one query in relation to the car about one week into the rent and they responded very quickly and were very helpful. The car was in good condition with very low mileage and I never got the feeling that hidden/extra costs were on the way. I know in unfamiliar places it feels like the safer option is to go for the more well known company and paying the extra money. But I think this company is worth looking at and deserves the custom. I will definitely use Sharr Express in the future when I return to Kosovo.
